Our History

Kukiss Bakery was born from a love for family, pastry, and the art of creating something beautiful by hand.

I’m María Eugenia, born in San Cristóbal, Venezuela. My professional background is in Spanish Language and Literature, but pastry has been part of my life for more than 27 years.

My love for baking began with the women who inspired me most: my grandmother and my mother. What started as a passion became a lifelong journey of learning, studying pastry, taking specialized courses, discovering new techniques, and constantly challenging myself to grow.

By my side through it all is my husband, Wilfredo Cuellar, a Venezuelan with Italian roots. An accountant by profession, Wilfred has always shared my love for cooking and creating. He is happiest working with his hands, bringing ideas to life, and, of course, being part of everything we build together.

And then there are our three children, Miguel, José, and Milangela, who have each become part of the Kukiss story in their own way.

That’s what makes Kukiss more than a bakery. It is a family project, built one recipe, one idea, and one dream at a time.

At Kukiss, we are inspired by the elegance and traditions of European pastry. We honor classic techniques while bringing our own creativity, personality, and a modern touch to everything we make.

As we begin this new chapter, our hope is simple: to create a place where beautiful pastries, good bread, and meaningful moments come together.
